Chemical Synthesis Specialist

Vitrax seeks a highly skilled Organic Chemist to support its custom synthesis group. As an ideal candidate, you will possess experience in small-scale organic synthesis with knowledge of practical and modern synthesis methodology.

The successful candidate will have expertise in chromatographic methods such as HPLC, TLC, and GC. Experience with radiometric analysis and vacuum line techniques is highly valued.

This position offers a competitive salary range $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, along with a bonus program, health and dental benefits, flex-time, and a relaxed working environment.

To excel in this role, you will need:

• BS/MS/PhD degree in Organic Chemistry or a related field.
• Proven track record in small-scale organic synthesis with a strong understanding of practical and modern synthesis methodologies.
• Familiarity with chromatographic methods, including HPLC, TLC, and GC.
• Radiometric analysis and vacuum line techniques are considered desirable skills.
