  • Research and implement new tools and technologies to maintain our software development ecosystem's cutting-edge status.
  • Maintain high-quality code through best practices, unit testing, integration testing, and test automation.
  • Diagnose and optimize application or system performance problems while maintaining quality.
  • Drive world-class quality in product development and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to arrive at design proposals and solutions.
  • Apply SDLC principles and methodologies, including Lean/Agile/XP, Continuous Integration, Product Security, Scalability, documentation practices, refactoring, and testing techniques.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent degree with a minimum of 6 years of software design and development experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Python programming.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software development and scripting on Linux operating system.
  • Strong proficiency in languages such as Python for data manipulation and visualizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a STEM major.
  • Experience in container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Experience in all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle using Agile development model.
  • Ability to take an idea and run with it to the finish line, while being a great team player.
  • Dependable, hands-on problem solver with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
