Job Title: Echocardiography Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiography Specialist to join our team at US Oncology Network-wide Career Opportunities. As an Echocardiography Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality cardiac ultrasound examinations to patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately obtain 2D, Doppler, spectral, and measurements under the direction of the physician in charge.
  • Use cognitive sonographic skills to identify and record appropriate anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images.
  • Maintain the equipment to the highest standard of cleanliness and coordinate with the manufacturer regarding any service issues.
  • Complete necessary documentation, charge capture, logs, and records.
  • Attend regularly scheduled QA meetings for the echocardiography laboratory.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a cardiac ultrasound program.
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)/Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)/Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required.
  • Two to five years of work experience in echocardiography required.
  • Current CPR certification required.

Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
