Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading client engagements and assessments, including:
  • Defining project scope
  • Adhering to industry-standard methodologies
  • Documenting and reporting findings
  • Enhancing penetration testing processes
  • Delivering comprehensive reports and conducting debriefing sessions with clients to discuss identified vulnerabilities and propose remediation strategies.
  • Acquiring knowledge of the company's security service offerings through self-study, partner training, and company-sponsored training.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders within client organizations, including CIOs, CSOs, CISOs, Security Directors, and Security Administrators, to strengthen relationships and understand their objectives.
  • Training sales teams on cybersecurity solutions and key technologies through one-on-one and group sessions.
  • Staying informed about emerging technologies, trends, and market dynamics through research and analysis.
  • Engaging in self-directed learning and hands-on practice in lab environments to enhance job-related skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a technical cybersecurity role.
  • At least 3 years in Security Pre-Sales Consulting.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in designing security infrastructures, including firewalls, endpoint protection, email security, intrusion detection/prevention, identity management, and event logging.
  • Solid understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, and CIS.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-up capabilities.
  • A genuine passion for technology.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of security solutions.

Preferred Certifications

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CWSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security, or other professional certifications in cybersecurity are preferred.

Note: If not currently certified, obtaining relevant certifications may be required within one year of employment.

Unique Requirements

  • Willingness to travel to client locations up to 20% for meetings, engagements, and conferences.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as needed for special projects.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $120,000 - $230,000, which includes base salary and potential bonuses. Compensation is based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Benefits may include medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending options.
