Position Overview
We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Cybersecurity System Administrator to enhance our security posture. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding our systems and networks, collaborating closely with the IT department to implement robust cybersecurity strategies that protect our valuable data and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and administer cybersecurity tools and systems to detect and address vulnerabilities and threats.
- Establish and uphold security protocols and practices to ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards.
- Perform routine security evaluations and audits to uncover potential risks and weaknesses.
- Design and implement security strategies, including firewall setups, network segmentation, and access management.
- Investigate security breaches and incidents, conducting forensic analysis and applying corrective measures.
- Keep abreast of emerging cybersecurity trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience as a Cybersecurity System Administrator or in a comparable position.
- Familiarity with NIST and CMMC standards.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment methodologies and tools.
- Solid understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong task prioritization skills.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM are advantageous.
