Job Summary:

Zermatt Utah Resort & Spa is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our resort's equipment and amenities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on resort equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Respond to guest room repairs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve our facilities and services.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of carpentry basics, including patching and painting.
  • Basic electrical and plumbing skills.
  • Experience with HVAC systems and heating and air conditioning.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry.
