Job Overview

Western Specialty Contractors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team in Little Rock, AR.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, planning, training, and supervising production resources to meet project demands. They will also oversee and interface with contractors, sub-contractors, building owners, and property managers, while managing field personnel and administering the company's safety program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and plan production resources to meet project demands.
  • Supervise and direct field personnel, including recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and retaining quality personnel.
  • Administer and enforce the company's safety policy and program to minimize accidents and ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
  • Manage field operations, including job start-up, execution, and shut-down, while ensuring compliance with contract specifications and planned costs.
  • Develop and maintain effective communications with customers, suppliers, union representatives, and company personnel.
  • Contribute to efficient branch operations by supplying accurate and timely job information, including daily job logs and job file documentation.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and team leadership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
