The Regional Operations Leader (ROL) is tasked with overseeing, guiding, and inspiring all Branch, Administrative, Operating, and Sales personnel within the region to achieve exceptional safety standards, revenue growth, EBITDA performance, and operational excellence. The ROL is accountable for implementing strategies and plans aimed at fulfilling and surpassing customer expectations. This role encompasses full Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability for the respective branches and surrounding territories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs the sales team to drive organic revenue growth, with potential direct oversight of key client accounts.
  • Manages branch resources to ensure swift market response.
  • Oversees the execution of Core Strategy I and II initiatives across all branches and the region.
  • Ensures the presence of branch planners at all locations and takes charge of their implementation.
  • Maintains adequate stocks of gases and related products at all sites to guarantee high fulfillment rates.
  • Ensures that branch and field sales teams receive proper training and focus on the specifics of customer needs and requirements, enhancing accuracy and SAP proficiency.
  • Maximizes profit margins through the execution of plans and strategies communicated from both the regional and area levels, while keeping operational expenses aligned with Gross Profit (GP) objectives, customer service standards, and growth initiatives.
  • Implements strategies to achieve strategic pricing objectives.
  • Facilitates the transition of targeted clients to the Total Access (TA) sales program.
  • Promotes effective collaboration, teamwork, and communication throughout the region.
  • Ensures a safe working environment across all Airgas facilities.
