Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Providence Saint Joseph Hospital Eureka - Dolbeer Street. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound exams on patients of all ages, including infants, pediatrics, and adults
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications in radiology
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as radiologic technology or a related field
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • 1+ year of experience in ultrasound technology, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with infants, pediatrics, and other specialized patient populations
  • Knowledge of ultrasound technology and its applications in radiology
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts
