Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients, collecting relevant information, and performing CT procedures. You will also be expected to observe patients' conditions, practice and enforce radiation safety, and adhere to all appropriate hospital and regulatory policies.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for CT procedures, collect relevant information, and perform CT scans
  • Observe patients' conditions and report any concerns to the radiologist
  • Practice and enforce radiation safety protocols to minimize patient exposure
  • Adhere to all appropriate hospital and regulatory policies and procedures
  • Participate in continuing education activities to expand knowledge of CT and MRI procedures
  • Take call after regular hours as assigned
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and assist in other areas of the department as needed
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a graduate degree in Radiologic Technology and be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). You should also have at least one year of experience in radiologic technology, preferably in CT. BLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
