Work Schedule
Shift: Evening
Days: Variable
Start Time: 2:30 PM
End Time: 11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute daily cleaning and restocking of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, and other designated areas.
  • Adhere to the protocols set forth by the Environmental Services department to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Engage in proactive measures to support safe patient care and services.
  • Deliver exceptional service in all interactions with patients, visitors, and team members.
  • Maintain cleanliness by dusting surfaces, emptying waste containers, and performing spot cleaning as necessary.
  • Replenish supplies and ensure all areas are well-maintained.
  • Comply with safety procedures for handling and disposing of cleaning chemicals.
  • Assist in the efficient turnover of rooms during admissions, discharges, and transfers.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dynamic work environment or completion of an approved externship program.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Skills and Abilities
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
  • Understanding of safety procedures for chemical handling and spill response.
