Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Westminster Public Schools. As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our schools, ensuring a healthy and productive learning environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of classrooms, hallways, and other school areas
  • Operate and maintain custodial equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and brooms
  • Restock supplies and materials as needed
  • Perform daily site inspections to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs
  • Collaborate with staff and students to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working in a custodial or maintenance role preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions
