Job Title: Child Psychiatrist

We are seeking a dedicated Child Psychiatrist to join our team at Helio Health. As a key member of our Outpatient Program, you will provide medical and psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and treatment planning for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including medical examinations, psychiatric consultations, and treatment of psychiatric conditions.
  • Serve on special review and quality assurance committees as assigned.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, referrals, and reviews consistent with agency policy and requirements.
  • Review and sign all treatment plans and treatment plan reviews for Mental Health Services.
  • Supervise other health professionals as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Must be a physician licensed and currently registered by the NYS Education Department.
  • Must be Board Certified, or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
  • At least one year of experience or comparable training in the treatment of substance use disorders.
  • Suboxone certified, or eligible to become Suboxone certified.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Have prescriptive authority and a DEA number.
