Job Summary

Vensure Employer Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Social Worker to join our team. As a Family Social Worker, you will play a critical role in providing support and services to families in need, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with families, providing them with the support and resources they need to succeed.
  • Conduct home visits and assessments to identify the needs of families and develop personalized plans to address those needs.
  • Provide education and guidance to families on topics such as parenting, life skills, and child development.
  • Connect families with community resources and services, such as healthcare, education, and employment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers, healthcare providers, and social workers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting families.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of family interactions, progress, and outcomes.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a human services field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • Bilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in Spanish.
