Position Overview


Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for delivering a range of patient care services that support daily living activities. This role includes providing fundamental nursing assistance and ensuring the upkeep of the care environment, including equipment and supplies.

As a vital member of the Psychiatric care team, the CNA contributes significantly to the treatment and management of patients within the Behavioral Health sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities and personal care.
  • Provide basic nursing support under the direction of nursing staff.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience as a nursing attendant is essential.
  • Experience in Behavioral Health and/or Substance Use Disorder is advantageous.
