PRACTICE DETAILS
Essentia Health is actively seeking additional full-time Hospitalists to enhance the hospitalist team at Essentia Health Hospital in Fargo, ND. The department comprises 14 dedicated full-time hospitalists, with a focus on Internal Medicine candidates exclusively.

We offer an attractive compensation package that includes paid malpractice insurance. You will be part of a supportive and collegial team, with no procedural responsibilities required. Specialty and Intensivist support are readily available.

Two admitting services are scheduled daily, seven days a week, with responsibilities including:
  • Managing emergency department admissions and consultations.
  • Collaborating closely with our One Call / HS team for patient transfers to the hospital, direct admissions, and supporting Essentia Health Hospital Care at Home patients through virtual visits.

Work hours consist of twelve-hour shifts for 26 weeks each year, with flexible scheduling options available.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine is required. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills and a strong orientation towards teamwork.

LOCATION:
Centrally situated on the border of North Dakota and Minnesota, Fargo-Moorhead has a population of approximately 200,000. The regional service area includes 25 clinics and 5 hospitals.
