Job Title: Home Care Assistant

The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, be certified as a CNA/HCA, and possess excellent communication skills. We offer a flexible schedule and paid time off.

This role involves assisting with daily activities, monitoring the client's health, and accompanying them on outings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with mobility and preventing falls by ensuring the client wears a gait belt during awake hours and providing stand-by assistance.
  • Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as assisting with oral hygiene routines and toileting needs.
  • Monitoring the client's health and providing medication reminders, which require nurse delegation training.
  • Preparing nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and ensuring the client stays hydrated.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment by performing light household chores.
  • Offering companionship and engaging in conversation and activities with the client.
  • Accompanying the client to medical appointments and assisting with outings using a wheelchair when needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year of caregiving experience.
  • CNA/HCA Certification.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Proof.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Food Handler Permit.
  • Proof of Negative TB result (Required).
  • Valid WA Driver's license and proof of insurance.

Estimated Salary: $28 per hour, depending on work experience and location.
