Position Type: Part-Time/Full-Time

Job Overview: We're seeking energetic and customer-focused Servers to join our team at Mellotone Beer Project. As a Server, you'll be the go-to for our guests, guiding them through our menu, recommending the perfect brews, and ensuring everyone leaves happy and full.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the Experience: Greet your guests with a smile, take them on a flavor adventure, and make sure they have an epic time from start to finish.
  • Menu Expert: Know our food and beer inside and out—whether it's recommending the perfect brew with a burger or explaining what makes our daily special unique, you're the expert.
  • Order with Precision: Take orders accurately and efficiently, entering them into the POS with ninja-like speed while keeping the flow of service smooth.
  • Sell Like a Pro: You're a master at suggesting appetizers, sides, desserts, and beer flights to keep the experience going strong.
  • Team Player: Work hand-in-hand with bartenders, the kitchen, and fellow servers to deliver top-notch service every single time.
  • Keep It Cool: Whether it's a busy Friday night or a chill Sunday brunch, you stay calm and collected, making sure your tables are always well taken care of.
  • Be a Clean Machine: Keep your section tidy, tables clear, and stay on top of side duties like polishing glasses and resetting tables.
  • Handle the $$$: Process payments quickly and accurately. You've got the math skills to make sure everything balances out.

Qualifications:

  • You're a people person with a passion for hospitality and making guests feel at home.
  • Ability to multitask like a pro in a fast-paced environment while keeping your cool.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with all kinds of guests.
  • Love for food, craft beer, and great service (or a willingness to learn about beer—no worries, we'll teach you).
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays—because that's when the fun happens.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous serving experience in a restaurant or bar is a plus, but if you've got the right attitude and love for service, we'll show you the ropes.
  • Knowledge of craft beer is awesome but not required—we'll help you master the art of beer recommendations and pairings.
