Key Responsibilities
- Makes home visits to clients in designated geographic territories to assess their needs and provide tailored care plans.
- Performs diagnostic tests and measurements to identify areas for improvement and develop effective interventions.
- Develops and implements individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other evidence-based interventions.
- Educates and instructs clients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.
- Accurately documents observations, interventions, and evaluations related to client care management and services provided.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A current Maryland Physical Therapist license and a minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid computer skills, with prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience.
