Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patient responses to treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical and psychological evaluations, and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions. Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, utilizing critical thinking skills to make quick and accurate decisions in emergency situations. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards. Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
Requirements
Associate degree in Nursing (or 3-year Diploma) required. Bachelor's degree preferred. BLS certification required. ACLS must be obtained within one year of hire. 1-year previous nursing experience preferred.
Compensation
$35 - $47.87 per hour
