Housekeeping Technician

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Technician to join our Environmental Services Team.

This is a full-time position responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting all areas of the medical center and its ancillary buildings, as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all areas of the medical center, including patient rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized janitor closet.
• Report any equipment failures or problems to the supervisor.
• Wear personal protective equipment as required.
• Follow departmental dress code policy.
• Complete annual Healthstream education courses on time.
• Utilize attendance systems per organizational and departmental guidelines.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of commercial cleaners and equipment preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions, including basic computer use.
• Must meet all local health regulation requirements, including a criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.
• Current Montana state driver's license.

Benefits:

• Eight (8) hour shifts up to 24 hours coverage.
• Primarily evening shifts, with days worked and shift times subject to change at the request of the manager.
