About the Role:
The Lakefront Anchorage Hotel, a premier hospitality establishment in Alaska, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Part-time Server Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, clearing and resetting tables, and maintaining the cleanliness of stations. Key Responsibilities:
- Clear dirty tables, wipe them clean with a moist towel or rag, and promptly reset all service-ware as prescribed
- Read meal tickets and deliver food to tables based on the order
- Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations during all meal periods, including equipment, silverware, linen, and condiments
- Serve guests with beverages, bread, and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current food handlers' card for the Municipality of Anchorage
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with people effectively

Benefits:
This part-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $14.00 - $17.00 per hour, depending on experience. We also offer opportunities for professional growth and development within our company.
