Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Printing Process Engineer to join our team at Charter Next Generation. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of our specialty film and flexible packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality prints on rolls of flexible plastic film.
  • Read and interpret job orders to mount specified plates and aniloxes, and adjust press settings as necessary.
  • Train and mentor production team members on printing processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with ink representatives and other partners to optimize printing operations.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control, making adjustments as needed to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with production supervisors, managers, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as manufacturing engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the flexographic printing industry.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with production team members and management.
  • Computer and database application skills, with experience in manufacturing software and systems.
