Job Title: School Bus Monitor

Kobussen Buses Ltd is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a School Bus Monitor. As a key member of our transportation team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students.

Job Summary:

The School Bus Monitor is responsible for working closely with the bus driver to maintain a safe and orderly environment on the bus. This includes assisting students with boarding and exiting the bus, monitoring student behavior, and reporting any incidents or concerns to the appropriate authorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist bus driver in maintaining order and discipline on the bus
  • Monitor student behavior and report any incidents or concerns
  • Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus
  • Provide first aid and emergency care as needed
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the bus
  • Participate in emergency evacuation drills
  • Assist special education students with safe ingress and egress from the bus
  • Implement intervention strategies to maintain order and discipline on the bus
  • Report observations and incidents to the appropriate authorities
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be physically able to lift students and equipment as needed.
