Job Summary and Qualifications
As an Echo/Vascular Technician, you will collaborate with a team that views each member as family, working diligently to support one another. We seek individuals who share our belief that patient care is profoundly meaningful.

In this role:
You will, under the guidance of the Manager, be responsible for conducting cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) procedures, including transthoracic, stress, transesophageal, and intra-operative echocardiograms in various settings.

You will provide physicians with comprehensive and precise anatomical and functional diagnostic information.

Your responsibilities will include accurately preparing patients for procedures and correlating patient history with all tests ordered by physicians.

You will adhere to established infection prevention and control policies to mitigate the risks of infection transmission through personal protective measures.

You will proficiently perform all ultrasound procedures in designated specialty service areas, utilizing diverse equipment and techniques in accordance with established clinical practice standards and hospital protocols.

With appropriate training and knowledge of other functions within cardiology services, you may also undertake additional duties related to clinical diagnostic testing and operational tasks that foster a collaborative environment.


Qualifications Required:
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
• Certification must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
