Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the hotel lobby, hallways, public restrooms, and other communal areas. This includes deep cleaning assigned sections and preparing meeting rooms for events.
- Provide a warm welcome to guests encountered in public spaces, and respond promptly to requests for housekeeping items delivered to guest rooms.
- Ensure a safe working environment by being vigilant about potential hazards and reporting them to your supervisor immediately.
- Manage keys issued for your duties responsibly, returning them at the end of your shift.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Proficiency in both written and verbal communication is essential.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Must be capable of handling high-pressure situations with sound judgment.
- Team-oriented with effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues.
- Familiarity with safe cleaning practices and the ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift weights of at least 25 pounds are necessary.
