Travel Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Sacramento, California.
About the JobThis is a 13-week travel job with 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, and a shift of days. The ideal candidate should have 1 year of experience, but we may consider exceptional candidates with 6 months of experience.
Responsibilities- Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for various patient populations in the acute care setting.
- Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff, including therapy technicians.
- Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines for the facility.
- Understand and comply with the respective PT board's rules and regulations.
- Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
- Understand adaptive equipment and use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
The ideal candidate should have 6 months of experience, but new grads are encouraged to apply. A BLS and state-specific licensing are required. Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
A sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology is essential.
