Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Beauty Sales and Artistry Specialist. This role is pivotal in representing our brand's expertise through sales, education, and artistry across a diverse multi-retailer territory. The Specialist will oversee the effective management of the Charlotte Tilbury account in both department and specialty stores, embodying the brand's values and strategic priorities.
The primary objective is to achieve outstanding financial performance by maximizing sales potential and delivering exceptional customer service. The Specialist will manage daily operations, strategize future initiatives, and execute various responsibilities, including sales, brand engagement, merchandising, training, and team development.
This position requires a genuine passion for the Charlotte Tilbury brand, fostering enthusiasm among customers and in-store teams, ultimately driving sales and enhancing brand recognition.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Performance
- Drive in-store financial outcomes to meet and exceed sales targets, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Average Unit Sales (AUS) and product rankings.
- Set and communicate individual and team sales objectives, developing tailored strategies for each location.
- Analyze sales performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement through artistry and education.
- Demonstrate expertise in retail artistry, showcasing an entrepreneurial mindset within company guidelines.
- Engage in regional meetings and team discussions to share best practices and address business challenges.
Customer Engagement
- Lead by example, consistently promoting exceptional service standards to both team members and clients.
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer service through training and event execution.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns with sound judgment, aiming for positive resolutions.
- Collaborate with the Education team to ensure ongoing training aligns with Charlotte Tilbury's service and artistry standards.
- Extend exceptional service beyond the store environment through proactive client engagement.
- Continuously develop personal artistry skills to lead by example.
- Foster an inspiring atmosphere that motivates exceptional service delivery.
- Maintain a professional appearance in alignment with the brand's dress code.
Team Development
- Anticipate staffing needs and recruit top talent to meet business objectives.
- Conduct impactful training sessions for in-store teams.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development for Sales and Artistry Coordinators, ensuring performance aligns with sales goals.
- Build a pipeline of candidates for future growth through consistent development efforts.
- Encourage a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Facilitate open communication and creativity through team meetings and collaborative leadership.
- Recognize and celebrate outstanding performance across all retail partners.
Operational Excellence
- Implement development plans and manage scheduling to support business growth.
- Oversee payroll budgets and ensure timely processing.
- Maintain a customer-ready environment at all times.
- Manage inventory levels and escalate needs as necessary.
- Optimize staffing based on customer flow and business requirements.
- Control expenses within budget guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain high standards of counter hygiene and technology functionality.
- Address operational issues promptly.
- Complete administrative tasks by established deadlines.
Retail Partner Relationships
- Develop respectful and cooperative relationships with store teams.
- Maximize return on investment by scheduling during peak business hours.
- Build meaningful relationships through effective communication and reliability.
- Adhere to retailer-specific standards and policies.
- Proactively suggest opportunities to drive sales within stores.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in the Beauty/Luxury industry.
- 3+ years of experience in retail management, including direct report oversight.
- Proven ability to create and execute sales strategies.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Strong partnership-building skills with retail partners.
- Demonstrated success in team development.
- Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000
