Position Summary:

This role is integral to the Automotive & Industry Area, reporting directly to the Area Controller. The primary focus is to provide financial support for business performance, ensuring accurate reporting of actual results, forecasts, budgets, and other related financial metrics for A&I locations, particularly within the Industry sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze P&L statements, customer sales reports, pricing strategies, cost per kilogram, and reports on savings initiatives, operational efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Daily KPI Monitoring: Track and report on tons produced/sold, daily sales figures, inventory levels, expired materials, and pricing indices for raw materials and sales.
  • Monthly Financial Analysis: Compile and publish monthly P&L results, cost center reports for all business units, and profitability charts.
  • Hyperion Reporting: Manage MIS reporting aligned with management reports, preparing documentation for Hyperion reports and conducting variance analysis against prior year, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Data Management: Utilize Business Intelligence tools to consolidate and prepare comprehensive reports by location, business unit, and product, ensuring accuracy and standardization.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct preliminary analyses, investigate variances, and manage monthly postings related to standard costs and manufacturing variances.
  • Cost Center Review: Periodically assess cost centers for accruals, reclassifications, and necessary journal entries.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the accuracy of inventory statements, including coordination of annual physical inventories and monthly cycle counts.
  • Account Reconciliation: Document reconciliations of inventory subledgers to general ledger balances as assigned.
  • MDM Process Participation: Engage in the Material Data Master process, reviewing costs and estimates for new part creations.
  • Additional Support: Assist in various tasks to support the A&I organization across all locations.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in finance roles such as Controllers, FP&A, or Pricing within a multinational manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong analytical abilities, proficiency in data management, and advanced computer skills, particularly in Excel, SAP S4/Hana, and Hyperion.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of Financial Analysis, Cost Accounting, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, along with experience in forecasting and budgeting.
  • Critical Thinking: Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with production, warehouse, and management teams.
