Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity

Rio Grande Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at our Freestanding Emergency Room in San Juan, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting
  • Collaborate with our experienced team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements
Requirements:
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits:
  • 16,000 annual patient volume
  • 24 hours of physician coverage
  • 8 hours of APP coverage daily

About Our Facility:

Our 11,000 square-foot freestanding emergency room in San Juan, TX is an extension of our main facility Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen, TX. It is conveniently located and accessible to residents in neighboring cities.

We offer a highly specialized trauma room, Meditech EMR, and on-site lab and imaging services. Our affiliation with Rio Grande Regional Hospital makes direct admission to the hospital simple and seamless.
