About This Role

At University Hospitals, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of cardiology. As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement evidence-based nursing practices to deliver safe and effective care to patients with cardiovascular conditions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor and report patient vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to ensure timely interventions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health literacy and self-management of cardiovascular conditions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Ohio RN license or multi-state compact license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required based on clinical area standards.
