Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Hotel Resource. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to ensure a positive experience.
  • Maintain a complete knowledge of hotel features, services, and hours of operation.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide direction as needed.
  • Work to resolve disruptive guests in a professional and customer-focused manner.
  • Walk the property regularly to ensure all doors are secure and stairwells are maintained.
  • Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments or personnel.
  • Play a key role as the primary contact for emergency personnel who visit the hotel.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a security role.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
  • Experience working at a hotel or restaurant establishment (highly desired).
  • Proficiency with computers.
  • Basic math skills.
  • The ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certified in Safety and Training, or Licensed as a Security Officer preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid Certified preferred.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.
