Job Summary

The Director of Nursing is a key member of our leadership team at The Hospitals of Providence - Memorial Campus, responsible for coordinating program development and driving business growth in our Children's Hospital department. This role requires a seasoned nursing professional who can develop, assess, and pursue opportunities aligned with our department's business plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct multiple cost centers/departments to achieve hospital and network objectives
  • Function in an advisory capacity to develop and evaluate proposed procedural changes related to patient care
  • Direct the implementation and ensure compliance with Standards of Care that promote optimal healthcare delivery
  • Closely monitor profit and loss, revenue generation, and expenditure control, adjusting staffing and resources to optimize operations and streamline costs
