Matrix Providers is seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in Kittery, ME. As a key member of our dental clinic, you will be responsible for providing top-notch oral care services to our military heroes.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with employer match and paid time off.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for examining patients' oral cavities, recording conditions of teeth and surrounding tissues, and referring patients to dentists when necessary. You will also apply desensitizing agents, instruct patients on proper oral hygiene care, and take impressions for mouth guards and soft night guards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine patients' oral cavities and record conditions of teeth and surrounding tissues
  • Apply desensitizing agents to treat abnormalities such as caries prevention and gingivitis
  • Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene care using materials such as toothbrushes, dental floss, and disclosing tablets
  • Take impressions for sports/safety mouth guards and soft night guards
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of an Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene, as well as a current state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. You should also possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, and be able to provide clinical competency as a Dental Hygienist within the last 2 years.
