**Company Overview:**
Core-Mark, a leading distributor of consumer goods, seeks a skilled Logistics Associate to join its team. As a Logistics Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth receipt and management of products at our facility.
**Salary:** The estimated salary for this position is $20.00 per hour, based on industry standards and location.
**Job Description:
The Logistics Associate is responsible for executing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), monitoring returns, processing returned/damaged product, and restocking/repacking product within the account. Key responsibilities include:
- Verifying and performing quality checks of pick-up slips to product received from customers;
- Processing credits and ensuring that paperwork balances are completed accurately;
- Maintaining various forms and logs; analyzing data and creating reports;
- Scanning in product information of products received;
- Processing product for restocking, destruction, or return to vendor;
- Checking-in drivers upon returning from deliveries;
- Receiving Driver's receipts of the day's customer deliveries, reconciling cash and checks, and placing them in the safe;
- Examining and verifying all returned items to be re-entered into inventory;
- Implementing various vendor policies to corresponding returned products;
- Inspections and preparing product for return to appropriate locations;
- Sorting items according to flow line or pick area; restocking and repacking product as needed;
- Palletizing items and returning stock to floor;
- Assisting in the unloading of trucks;
- Creating solutions to unique returns scenarios and finding opportunities to improve processes.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience;
- 6+ months of experience in an office setting;
- 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience with a WMS;
- Electric Pallet Jack Experience;
- Able to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position;
- Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer, and dry;
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
