We are seeking a seasoned Mortgage Loan Processor to join our high-performing team at Summit Home Lending.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the mortgage industry, specifically in the broker model, and be able to effectively communicate with borrowers throughout the loan process.

This role demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as exceptional attention to detail and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between various stakeholders, including applicants, mortgage brokers, loan officers, real estate agents, and underwriters
  • Oversee the loan process from origination to close, ensuring timely and compliant execution
  • Collaborate with underwriters to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the underwriting process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of loan progress and communicate regularly with clients and underwriters

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of mortgage processing experience, preferably in a broker's environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Familiarity with Calyx Point software and other industry-standard systems

Compensation Package: $40,000 per year
