Job Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in wire alarm systems.
- 3+ years of experience in cabling and network systems.
- 2-3 years of experience in lift and conduit systems.
- Ability to travel to job sites with some potential overnights.
- Potentially available for a flexible schedule, including nights or weekends.
- Must maintain a valid Driver's License.
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Able to climb 12 ft ladder.
- Experience with Scissor or Boom Lift.
- Show in-depth knowledge of National Building Codes and standards.
- Positive attitude.
Job Duties:
- Read Blueprints.
- Maintain cable systems by installing, repairing, programming, and upgrading cable infrastructure.
- Perform major and minor preventive maintenance and repairs by troubleshooting cabling system issues.
- Complete required paperwork, including installation checklists, timesheets, service orders, and vehicle inspection reports.
- Place, label, and identify Cat5, 5e, Cat 6, and 7 voice/data twisted pair cable.
- Build pathways for cable (cable tray, ladder rack, J-hooks, etc.).
- Disassemble equipment and inspect and test wiring to locate and repair problems.
- Terminate/label work-station outlets.
- Troubleshoot and test voice/data cable.
- Communicate with on-site customer contact in a professional manner.
- Ability to access network equipment using Putty or SSH.
- Troubleshoot NVRs, IP cameras, network devices, etc.
- Install and troubleshoot intrusion/fire alarm systems.
- Record time and materials used on daily work assignments.
- Perform Fiber Termination and Installations.
- Perform CCTV Installation & Telecommunications Repairs.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred).
Work Environment:
- On the road.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday.
- Potential Overtime.
- Potential Weekend availability.

- All Technicians are required to wear a mask while on site at client premises.
