Job Title: Seasonal Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Sales Associate to join our team at VF Corporation. As a Seasonal Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to a positive and inclusive store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized customer engagement and serve as a one-stop resource for customers.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and make recommendations to customers.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive store environment by demonstrating a willingness to learn and share knowledge with colleagues.
  • Achieve sales and productivity goals by utilizing all available resources to meet customer needs.
  • Assist in the execution and maintenance of visual directives and standards, including merchandise presentation, housekeeping, and product replenishment.
  • Assume cashier duties as needed and assist in the execution of all Loss Prevention initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Ability to genuinely and comfortably engage with a diverse group of customers.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Ability to collaborate, work as a team, and be adaptable in the workplace.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge, experience, and/or willingness to learn about the products, activities, and community relevant to the store's customer base.
  • Attention to detail and proficient computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Customer service experience.
Physical Demands:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle and feel objects, tools, or controls, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
