About the Role:

SSI Petroleum, a leading wholesale petroleum distributor in Central and South Florida, is seeking a skilled CDL A Hazmat Fuel Transport/Tank Wagon Driver to join its team. In this key position, you will be responsible for loading and transporting bulk oil & fuel to various customers, ensuring timely delivery of vital products to communities.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and transporting bulk oil & fuel to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operating tanker trucks and maintaining accurate records of deliveries and cargo.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including DOT and hazmat safety standards.
• Providing exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintaining a clean driving record and adhering to company policies on vehicle maintenance and safety.

Requirements:

• A valid Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements.
• A current DOT Medical Card at time of hire.
• A clean driving record and TWIC clearance for port access.
• The ability to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment DOT drug screen and background check.
• Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in documentation and communication.
• Ability to manage priorities, workflow, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficient in performing pre-post trip inspections and managing vehicle maintenance.
• Registration through the Clearing House per FMCSA.
