About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Med Sonographer to join our team at AdventHealth Avista. As a Diagnostic Med Sonographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing ultrasound procedures with precision and sensitivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, OB, head, extremity, retro peritoneal, small parts, and vascular exams.
  • Produce high-quality images in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare patients for exams, provide information and instruction, and respond to their physical and emotional needs.
  • Assist patients during exams and position them as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • ARDMS registration in RDMS (OB/GYN), RVT (VT), or RDCS (AE) or (PE).
  • ARRT registration in R.T. (S) (ARRT) or R.T. (S) (BS) (ARRT).
