Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse LVN Part Time Nights

Aveanna Healthcare is a leading provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse LVN to join our team in New Braunfels, TX.

Job Summary

The Private Duty Nurse LVN will provide one-on-one care to our patients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and providing medical support as needed. This is a part-time position, working nights, and requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and update patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Document patient progress and communicate with the healthcare team as needed
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Current LVN licensure in the state of Texas
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Private Duty Nurse or in a similar role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
