Job Title: Operating Room Tech / Sterile Processing Tech

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

Job Summary:

As an Operating Room Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include preparing the operating room, assisting with surgical tools and equipment, maintaining sterile conditions, and transporting patients to and from surgery.

Responsibilities:
  • Prep the operating room and surgical tools for procedures
  • Assist nurses and surgeons with scrubbing in and out
  • Maintain sterile conditions throughout the procedure
  • Transport patients to and from surgery
  • Assist with cleaning the operating room after procedures
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience
  • Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
  • BLS Certification
  • Trauma Experience preferred, not required
  • Travel experience preferred, not required
