Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a welcoming and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages students to develop a passion for the arts;
  • Motivate students to express their creativity, refine their skills, and broaden their understanding of art, design, and art history;
  • Collaborate with fellow Art Educators to design an exceptional art curriculum and cultivate a school environment that appreciates aesthetics and showcases student achievements;
  • Promote a culture of self-expression, utilizing inquiry-based teaching methods to enhance students' critical thinking regarding art;
  • Engage in continuous Professional Development opportunities to gain valuable insights into your teaching practice and accelerate your professional advancement.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Visual, Fine, or Studio Arts (e.g., Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Ceramics) or Art Education;
  • A solid academic foundation;
  • An art portfolio that effectively showcases your artistic abilities and commitment to education;
  • Experience in comprehensive art and art history instruction;
  • Able to set high expectations for yourself and your students;
  • Flourish in a collaborative educational setting.

Compensation:

Starting From: $60,000.00
