Safety Inspector

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Inspector to join our team at American Consolidated Natural Resources, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, advising management on hazards, and conducting mine inspections and accident investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular mine inspections to identify and mitigate hazards
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
• Develop and implement safety programs and procedures to prevent injuries and illnesses
• Collaborate with management and employees to promote a safety-first culture
• Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and investigations

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in mine operations, electrical, or safety
• Associates Degree in Industrial Health and Safety or related field
• MSHA Instructor, Underground Mine Foreman, Fireboss, First-Aid, Dust and Noise Sampling Certification
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
