Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including functional behavior assessments (FBA), VB MAPP, AFLS, and ABLLS-R.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessment findings, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Provide clinical supervision to support staff, including BHT or RBT workers.
  • Deliver direct 1:1 ABA therapy in various environments, including homes, schools, and communities.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and programs, as written by the supervising BCBA.
  • Collect data during each session with the client.
  • Reduce challenging behaviors, such as aggression, property destruction, and tantrums.
  • Analyze data to adapt and adjust programming.
  • Provide support to parents, teachers, and community officials.
  • Offer clinical support to direct care staff.
  • Implement consequences related to appropriate and inappropriate behavior.
  • Establish coordination of communication with other supporting agencies.
  • Exchange information clearly and concisely with relevant parties.
  • Complete and submit all necessary paperwork, including session notes, encounter logs, treatment plans, and assessments, in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • BACB Certification in good standing.
  • Behavior Specialist License is required.
  • Master's Degree (MS or MA) in a mental health field and one (1) year of documented paid experience working with children, adolescents, or youth.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • One (1) year of paid experience working with children or adolescents (preferred).

We require staff to have appropriate background checks, transcripts of their degree, and clearances to work in direct contact with children and adolescents.
