Job Title: Emergency Department Nurse

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Emergency Department Nurse to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Laurium, Michigan.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Department Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As an Emergency Department Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to address their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, including communication with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, responding promptly to changes in their condition and taking appropriate action to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements:
  • Current Michigan Nursing License
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • ACLS
  • At least 1 year of recent relevant nursing experience
  • PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI preferred
