Dietary Aide

Summary: We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at Morrison Healthcare. As a key member of our patient services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our patients, ensuring their dietary needs are met and their experience is positive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Distribute and collect menus, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist patients in completing menu selections, taking into account their prescribed diet and any food allergies or sensitivities.
• Offer alternatives to menu items as allowed on prescribed diets, respecting patients' cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Plan and prepare regular and modified menus based on current diet manuals.
• Prepare and distribute supplements, tube feedings, and enteral formula in an accurate and timely manner.
• Manage human/donor milk and/or infant formula, adhering to facility protocols.
• Adhere to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient's rights policies.
• Comply with regulatory agency standards, including federal, state, and TJC.
• Complete all required documentation, reports, and logs.
• Participate in facility-wide and department Performance Improvement Program and on Performance Improvement teams to improve processes and patient care.
