Job Summary

The Physician Advisor is a key member of our clinical leadership team, responsible for providing expert clinical guidance and oversight to ensure the highest quality of care for our members. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure compliance with best practice standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with providers and stakeholders to address clinical and medical matters, including member placement, coordination of care, and quality concerns.
  • Participate in quality reviews and investigations as needed, including member complaints, grievances, and agency reviews.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research and best practices to inform clinical decision-making.
Requirements
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) and PA licensure.
  • Board certification in Adult or Child Psychiatry.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical psychiatry experience, including inpatient care and substance abuse treatment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
