We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at IntelyCare. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care in post-acute facilities in the Elkton, MD area.
Key Responsibilities- Provide compassionate nursing care to residents, including monitoring vital signs and tracking medical histories.
- Administer medications, track their use, and document any health concerns.
- Cultivate a safe and comfortable facility environment for residents.
- Track medical records and charts, and assist with the setup of IVs, immunizations, and phlebotomy procedures.
- Manage medical supplies and maintain a proper inventory.
- Adhere to resident care plans and work with staff to orient and train new colleagues.
- Current Maryland state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Completion of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) educational program.
- High school diploma (or GED/equivalent).
- Minimum of 6 months of experience (LPN or related role).
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
