Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at a non-profit, 100-bed hospital in Central California. This hospital offers a wide range of services, including Emergency, Acute Care, and Intensive Care, as well as Physical Therapy, Radiology, Clinical Lab, Respiratory, and Surgery Services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work as a generalist, including blood bank duties
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Perform laboratory tests and analyze results to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain laboratory standards
Requirements:
- California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License
- BS Degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science (or a related field)
- MLS/MT ASCP preferred
